Addison’s latest work titled “…with a red-lipped smile” was premiered on November 8th at the University of the Arts Senior Thesis Showcase. This work encompasses the effects the male gaze has on women.

My thesis was a dance. It was a performance. It was nine minutes and thirty seconds of entertainment. But who for? What are they performing? Why are they performing?
It symbolizes the performance of life for women to keep their place in society.
This thesis utilizes the themes of conformity, gaze, relationships, ending and beginnings.
